Z-HOPE

Z-HOPE, or Zetas Helping Other People Excel, is an interactive holistic multidimensional outreach program designed to enhance, cultivate and empower participants to develop health-promoting lifestyle choices across the lifespan. Z-HOPE is specific to the population groups; Women, Youth, Seniors, Men, and International Women of Color. Each year the Gamma Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter hosts Z-HOPE events in conjunction with local schools, churches and community organizations. Our goal is to positively impact as may underserved populations and bring awareness to social, health and wellness issues.

The National Education Foundation

The National Educational Foundation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. with 501 (c) 3 status was created and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The principle activities and purpose of the trust are to award scholarship grants to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education; to conduct community educational programs which will aid in the educational and vocational improvement in individual and community living standards; to engage in activities which will aid in the educational development of all women; and to engage in any appropriate research related to the purposes of the Foundation scholarship. ​

Annual Events

Signature Event - Our Royal Noir is an annual event showcasing and highlighting our various partners in the community as a way of saying thank you to them for working with the "Glamorous" Gamma Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter. At this event we also showcase our newly inducted members of the sorority. 

Community Service

Gamma Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter is very busy in the McKinney and Northern Collin County Areas with our Volunteer Efforts:

• Gamma Alpha Omega Zeta volunteer efforts include supporting the National Program Intitiatves along with many local community groups in the McKinney and surrounding areas in Northern Collin County. 
• I Heart Seniors Valentine's Day Party in Conjunction with Lead By Example. We provide a Valentine's Day Party with games, Valentine's Day Candy and other refreshments. We work with Lead By Example on various activities with the McKinney Senior Center. 
• We volunteer monthly with the McKinney Community Food Pantry by sorting and stacking the donated food items so that families in McKinney and surrounding areas are able to get food in a clean, safe environment that resembles a regular grocery store.
• Every Thanksgiving we collect donations for the Wilmeth Elementary School and adopt a class room to give families a full Thanksgiving Dinner. 
• We collected blankets, socks and hats and donated them to the Samaritian Inn a homeless shelter in McKinney. We have set up a montly partnership with them to work in the homeless shelter sorting out donations for them as well.
• We have signature programs for combating Domestic Violence in October.
• We participate in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated National Partnership with the March of Dimes and Prematurity Awareness by raising money and volunteering at the events.
